MA IN FINE ART WORK
This next section highlights key explorative pieces from Rachael's 'making' stages during the MA. These pieces are works in progress and show a creative response to the constraints during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rachael's work explored the exploitation of meat; how this can be metaphorically be used as a vessel to portray social and economic issues surrounding consumerism, ultimately at a rate that is unsustainable. Digitizing works is alien to Rachael - as she is a keen practical maker. She responded in a way that pushed her professional practice further - and ultimately lead to a visual conclusion to her body of work.
